About The Mommies Network
The Mommies Network is a 501c(3) organization founded in April of 2005 by Heather Meininger along with a board of two additional members, Frances Bullock and Amanda Keys. Heather had founded CharlotteMommies three years earlier and knew that a need existed for mothers to connect with one another and support each other. The Mommies Network was created to help fill this need in cities across the United States. By the end of 2005, The Mommies Network parented eight communities in four states and had formed a partnership with Carolina Parenting, the publisher of three parenting magazines in North Carolina.
In January 2006, Amanda stepped down and Suzanne Johnston joined the board. The Mommies Network celebrated its 1st anniversary with a total of sixteen communities in seven states. 2006 brought changes to the organization, including new partnerships with eBeanstalk, an online toy company, and GoodSearch, a search engine powered by Yahoo!, as well as renewing the Carolina Parenting partnership. They also wrote a manual for new site administrators, added an Advisory Board to help with community management and moved to a new web server to better accomodate their growth.
In January of 2007, Frances stepped down and Rebecca Sardo, our Site Administrator for TriadMommies.com, accepted the third position on the board. Amanda Keys returned to serve as the Charitable Events Advisor. As the end of 2007 approaches, TMN has opened 66 communities and looks forward to opening their first Canadian community in Ottawa, ON early 2008. |

Heather Meininger
Heather is the President of The Mommies Network. She co-founded CharlotteMommies in 2002 and founded The Mommies Network in 2005. Heather has been married to Kevin for 11 years and has two beautiful daughters: Caroline Grace (6) and Catherine Elizabeth (1). She has a B.A. in English Literature. She grew up in Ohio and Pennsylvania and moved to South Carolina when she was ten. Today she and her family live in Charlotte, NC. She also enjoys reading, writing and homeschooling Caroline. |

Suzanne Johnston
Suzanne is a Director for The Mommies Network. Suzanne and her husband Rob moved to Charlotte, NC from Massachusetts in 1996 and have a busy four-year-old son, Trotman "Trot" Russell. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary in 2007. She has a B.S. in Marketing and an MBA. Suzanne does some work from home as marketing consultant, is usually involved in a home improvement project on their 61-year-old house, and likes to work in her yard. |

Rebecca Sardo
Becky is a Director for The Mommies Network. Becky was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 1999 to attend Greensboro College. She graduated with a degree in Exceptional Child Studies. Becky has one daughter, Daniela, who was born in January, 2005. Becky served as the site administrator for our TriadMommies community for two years, "retiring" from this position in 2007 to focus on her duties for the Board. In her free time, Becky enjoys photography, reading and music. |

Amy Sloan
Amy and her husband Gregg live in Cornelius, North Carolina and have three children: Alexa, Hunter and Carter. She became a stay-at-home mom in 2003 and homeschools both her boys. Amy founded LakeNormanMommies and served as the site administrator for 18 months. She enjoys reading pop fiction, watching Grey's Anatomy, cooking, boating and camping. |

Rachelle Watkins
As National Sponsorship Manager, Rachelle is responsible for placing forum, site and newsletter sponsorships that help fund The Mommies Network. She has a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Marketing from Western Carolina University and 7seven years sales and marketing experience. She lives in Matthews, North Carolina with her husband, Ryan, and 14 month old son Jonathan. |

Amanda Anderson
Amanda is a stay-at-home mom to her daughter Isabel and her dog Chewy. She and her wonderful husband have been married since 2003, but have actually been friends since they were 13. They live in Glen Allen, Virginia where she serves as Site Administrator for our RichmondMommies community. Some of her interests include shooting pool, music, photography, and of course - the internet. |

Kim Dronsky
Kim and her husband, Shawn, are high school sweethearts and married in 1997. They moved to Concord, North Carolina in 1999 after Shawn got out of the Marines. They have 2 drama queens, Alanna and Kaylan. Kim founded our CentralPiedmontMommies community and serves as the Co-Site Administrator. When Kim is not online, she enjoys having coffee with friends, shopping, crocheting, scrapbooking and a little geneaology. |

Maria Elberson
Maria is married to David and they have a daughter Leah, age 3. She serves as Co-Site Administrator for our AtlantaAreaMommies community, a site she joined when she relocated from Charlotte, North Carolina. Maria loves being a stay-at-home-mom and when she’s not playing with her toddler or tackling the housework she enjoys dinner with friends, scrap booking, watching a movie with her husband, reading and being an amateur photographer. |

Michelle Finnegan
Michelle is married to Patrick and is a bonus mom to PJ (14) and Katie (13) and the proud mother of Collin (3). She serves as the Co-Site Administrator for our CharlotteMommies community. |

Jennifer Griffith
Jennifer is mom to Dakota (9), Katara (7), Lexxus (5), Bentley (3), Ryleigh (9 months) and Paxton (born Nov 2007). Jennifer and her husband, Lacey, are originally from West Virgina and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2001. She relocated again in 2006, and became the Site Administrator for our CentralFoothillsMommies community. |

Chelle Osborne
Chelle is a working mom of twins: Jenna and Nathan, age six. She works part-time at the American Red Cross. In her spare time, Chelle enjoys scrapbooking, cooking, and reading. She was a long time member and moderator on our CharlotteMommies community before joining the Community Management Team of UnionCountyMommies, where she now serves as Co-Site Administrator. |

Jaime Pierce
Jaime has lived on the Central Coast of California most of her life. While in college, she met the love of her life, Shawn, thought the internet! In 2001, they married and two years later in July, 2004, they welcomed their first child, Ashlynn Paige, into their lives. Jaime is a stay-at-home mom with Ashlynn and also works two mornings a week in her family's business as a bookkeeper. She serves as the Co-Site Administrator for our SLOCountyMommies community. |

Kelly Segraves
Kelly is a stay-at-home mom to two boys, Gavin and Tanner. She has been married to her husband Will since 1998. After having lived in Texas for a few years Kelly and her family recently moved to Atlanta, where she also serves as Co-Site Administrator for our AtlantaAreaMommies community. Kelly is a proud alumni of The Ohio State University where she received a BS in Human Ecology in 1997. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time with her family and tennis. |

Amanda Keys
As Charitable Advisor, Amanda networks with local and national charities on behalf of TMN. Amanda and her husband, Shannon, are proud parents of their four-year-old son and newborn daughter. They are both Georgia natives and currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Amanda is a member of our CharlotteMommies community. Amanda is a Georgia Bulldog fan and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology. Her husband's career in Nascar brought them to the Charlotte area. Amanda served as the CharlotteMommies Charitable Events Manager prior to joining The Mommies Network team. In her spare time, Amanda is an active volunteer with several organizations and is also active with her church. In her free time, she also enjoys reading and taking yoga classes. |

Linda McAffee
Linda coordinates launching new communities - from applications to launch. She moved to Charlotte in 2001. She is married to Matt and they have a son, Tyler (age 2). Prior to being a mom she worked with cardiac patients developing exercise programs. Now she is a personal trainer, teaches aerobics class and offers massage therapy. Linda likes to garden and work on fixing up her house. Linda is a member of our CharlotteMommies community and served as their Usergroup Manager for two years. |

Kevin Meininger
Kevin is responsible for the overall technical management of The Mommies Network. He is our lead programmer and offers technical support when needed. Kevin is married to Heather and together they have two children, Caroline and Caty. Kevin is a member of our CharlotteAreaDads community. He currently works full-time at a Charlotte printing company as IT Manager. |

Barb Parcell
Barb is responsible for managing themommiesnetwork.org and thedadsnetwork.org as well as some addition Internet-focused projects. She is a working mom and the founder and Site Administrator of PeninsulaMommies. She is currently the Webmaster for the Virginia Institute of Marine Science located in Gloucester, and lives in Newport News with her husband Charles and their two girls: Kyleigh, age 5, and Jillian, age 3. Barb is originally from central Florida, where she earned her degree in Digital Media and met Charles at Full Sail in 1999. They moved to northern Virginia in 2002 for better work opportunities and to be closer to Charles' family. After moving to Charles' hometown of Yorktown at 8 months pregnant with their second child, Barb became a stay-at-home mom for the next two years. |
